The Wallace Arts
Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit community arts organization
classified as a public charity under section 170(b)(1)(A)(vi),
offers you the opportunity to fulfill
your charitable giving pledge. Our mission is to bring visual and
performing arts education programs to economically challenged children
in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. This is part of keeping our
larger commitment to the community by increasing access to arts
instruction for these youngsters. The community is strengthened
because these young people receive educational and cultural benefits
that empower, enlighten, and enhance their ability, as they develop
their potential. To date, we have provided instruction to over
3500 children in economically deprived areas. Please lend us
a hand to continue to help these kids.
The Foundation’s programs are based on
California State Content Standards for K-12 for visual arts. We
hold professional designated certificates to teach visual arts.
Art education is recognized as a core curriculum subject, it enhances
every aspect of a child’s ability to learn and our objective is to make
this available for inner city children. We ask for your assistance
in helping us accomplish our goals. You may support the Wallace
Arts Foundation in a variety of ways such as:
Underwriting our Budding Artist workshops
Funding our Artworks Net Club program
Funding costs for student field trips
Our innovative programs help improve
math, reading, and language skills, and develop cognitive skills in
communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and collaborative
projects.
Your generosity will assist us to continue providing quality programs
and events to enhance the development of the artistic skills for the
youth of our community. Everyone wants to be associated with
success stories and your help provides positive changes in the lives of
inner city kids. Should you require specific information regarding
this endeavor, I am available to meet with you at your convenience.
Please call me at (310) 419-0376. We thank you in advance for your
generous gift. Remember, it’s all about the development of our
kids!
Sincerely,
Wanda Wallace
Founder and Executive Director
